With Great Power

In case I haven't mentioned it lately I just want you to know that a group of authors and I are putting together a book of short stories that follow a comic book, Amazing Fantasy #15, as it frist comes out and passes from one person to another. It is the first appearance of Spider-man and it goes from 1962 to present day. The stories focus on how the first Spider-man story helps the owners of  the book with their own problems and lives. The title of the book is called With Great Power. It is to help raise money for a Christian missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ. So if you are an author and want to contribute to help a Christian mission let me know. The art above is a possible cover to the book from artist Khris Reaves.

Book Update

Just to let you all know that here are those that have expressed an interest in the book that shows the affect the book Amazing Fantasy #15 has on the people who come to own it. They are Dan Johnson who writes Dennis the Menace, Paul Castiglia of Archie Comics, Tyrone Reed Jr. author of S.O.L.A.D. Soliders of Light Against Darkness, H. Michael Brewer author of Who Needs a Superhero: Finding Vitue, Vice and What Holy in the Comics, Brian Reaves author of books such as Stolen Lives, Protal and Chase the Shadows and new addition to the list of authors is Michael Ciccolini author of the Pasta Family series of children's books. With myself included that makes seven authors for the book. There is room for more if you wish to join just send me a message. There is also a possible Forward by son of the late Spire Comics Christian artist and writer Al Hartly, Fred Hartley. The book is gaining steam so join the roster now if you are interested. If you can't please buy the book when it is out so we can raise money for a Campus Crusade for Christ missionary.

Charity Book

Calling all Christian author/comic book fans. I am putting together a book of short stories that revolve around an issue of Amazing Fantasy #15 with the first appearance of Spider-man from the first day it comes out and how it affects each person who owns it from that time to the present. I am writing the first two stories to start it off and I may write the last story as well but the inbetween stuff is by others. If I write the last story I plan for it to be that the first person gets the book back and show how it helps him again. Unless someone else can come up with a better story to end with.
So far Dan Johnson who writes the strip Dennis the Menace, Tyrone Reed Jr. the author of the book S.O.L.A.D.: Soliders of Light Against Darkness and Michael Brewer the author of Who Needs a Superhero?: Finding Virtue, Vice, and Whats Holy in the Comics, have all expressed an interest. If anyone else is interested please get a message to me. Thank you. Also this project is to raise money for a missionary for Campus Crusade for Christ.

Review: A Very, Very Pasta Family Halloween

I like the book a lot. A good book and a funny read with a musical number along the way. I like how it broke the 4th wall when she was asked how can you do a musical number since we're in a book? I did something like that in my book Last Train to Murder in the last chapter. I also liked how the little ghost kept his faith in God when he saw the girl full of joy and knew that there was still hope. In other words God showed him a way out. I also liked how it briefly showed some Marvel Halloween costumes. Of course the names were changed. The funniest name I thought was Webs McFadden which was really Spider-man. I laughed out loud at that one.
As always Michael Ciccolini's sense of humor shines through in the latest Pasta Family adventure. Join Annaleenie and Lynn Gweenie and others on their adventure with the ghost, Sookrose and others. You won't be disappointed. Another great Past Family book.

Last Train to Charity

I haven't felt right about my book Last Train to Murder since I heard about the death of Davy Jones. I already told a missionary for Campus Crusade for Christ that I would give them the money if the book made a profit but I feel that half of the money should go to helping with the Davy Jones Equine Memorial Fund. Books are still in print

Got an odd reply from the Book Depository to a question I had on my books. Dinky the Elf and Last Train to Murder are listed as out of print as their supplier doesn't have any in stock. Project:Hero is listed as in stock as the supplier has 130 copies. Unless the company that puts out Project:Hero then they owe me some money cause they would have had to buy it from Lulu.com. But so far I haven't been paid for them.

Kindle sales are up on Project:Hero. Also, I made arrangements yesterday to try and get Last Train to Murder in as a book at the Public Library in Clarksville,Indiana since it mentions their town in the book. However, they have to look at it first to see if it meets a book as local interest in their area so they aren't certain it will be in the library. If you live in that area and want to see it in the Clarksville library please let them know ASAP. They sould have the book there in a week or two.

YEA!

Good news. I found the files are actually still on the disc minus the updates that I did on the files today. I only found it when I tried to look at it on a 3rd computer. THe other 2 were laptops and I use them more then this one that I am on now. This one is the one that foudn them still on the disc. But why wouldn't they show up on the laptops?

AAARRRGGGHH!!!

I am very upset. I had my Resume's and all my stories that I was working on a non-rewritable CD. Somehow it did get rewritten and now the disc is blank. What can I do?? I know I should just rewrite them but the stories just won't seem the same to me. For one thing I don't remember everything I wrote or how I worded it.
