For those of you who visit this site I wanted to show you that I did a commercial. Now it isn't for any of my books. Hopefully that will come but for now I was an extra in this commercial. You see me in a close up at the very beginning and about 40 seconds into the commmercial I am way in the background laughing at a joke. In the close up I am suppose to be talking to some one but no one is there.

I was looking for video for a special that aired almost every year in the Cincinnati area when I was a kid. It was a special at Halloween that was hosted by kids show host Uncle Al Lewis, his wife Wanda as Captain Windy and the character of Pal the dog from the show. It had them journeying to a haunted house in some spooky woods. Can't seem to find any video on the special. If you do know where I can finde it please let me know. Video of the Week: The Monkees on the Smithsonian Channel

The Smithsonian Channel is showing a documentary on the Monkees. So far the air date is Jan. 10th. I was honored with an advance showing of the documentary and honored that the Smithsonian has taken an interest in doing this for my favorite band and one of my favorite TV shows. The program seems a little cynical towards them to me but you make think otherwise after you see the show. Below is the promo video for it and it is our video of the week. I can't believe that I have gone nearly the entire Christmas season and seen alot of Christmas ads. However, this is one that I use to see every year but not this year. Thanks to Pop Culture Safari I was directed to the above video at Classic Television Showbiz. Does anyone remember another Archie live series? It was in the 1970's and kind of a variety show but focused mostly on comedy. It was more like Archie's Joke Book on TV. If you know where there is any video on this please tell me and direct me to it. Thanks.

Let's Meet At The Love Shack Again! Video of the week: The B-52's

I have never been a big fan of the B-52's. They were part of the 80's new wave move and I didn't get into that type of music back then. I did like their song "Love Shack." That was almost 20 years ago. Now members of that band are in their 50's and 60's. They are still preforming today and in this video the energy they still attack the song with should make bands whose members are in their 20's envious of their energy and talent. It almost makes me wish I was into that kind of music back then. Now here are...THE B-52'S!!!!
