While it maintains a great level of clean reading and it references a faith, it is in no way preachy.

Cover Art from Start to Finish…

When doing a cover, you first must identify the character. My character of choice was Jaelyn, I spent time searching through a variety of pictures from www.canstockphoto.com and found the perfect one, but she needed work.

I trolled the internet’s vast collection flames, scars and plugged them into Photoshop. It’s important that all the elements come together.

Finally, I touched up the Color and added the lighting and Font. I won’t go into all I did but I will share the evolution of the cover with you.

These covers are for the Novella. I released it twice but re-covered it 3 times.

 

Bio:

Elizabeth Delana Rosa has always been a writer. When she first learned to write in Kindergarten, she wrote about pigs who “groo” wings and became “butterfys.” Elizabeth knew way back then that she would have a love affair with writing. It overtook her life and has been a constant companion. Now over 20 years later, that love flows over into writing blogs, reviews, poetry and fantasy novels. Lastly Elizabeth is a big nerd. She loves Fantasy, YA, Paranormal Romance, and Sci-Fi books. Her dream is to promote Authors and help them reach the highest level of Success, while writing her own YA and NA Fantasy Novels. In case I haven't mentioned it lately I just want you to know that a group of authors and I are putting together a book of short stories that follow a comic book, Amazing Fantasy #15, as it frist comes out and passes from one person to another. It is the first appearance of Spider-man and it goes from 1962 to present day. The stories focus on how the first Spider-man story helps the owners of  the book with their own problems and lives. The title of the book is called With Great Power. It is to help raise money for a Christian missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ. So if you are an author and want to contribute to help a Christian mission let me know. The art above is a possible cover to the book from artist Khris Reaves.

Charity Book

Calling all Christian author/comic book fans. I am putting together a book of short stories that revolve around an issue of Amazing Fantasy #15 with the first appearance of Spider-man from the first day it comes out and how it affects each person who owns it from that time to the present. I am writing the first two stories to start it off and I may write the last story as well but the inbetween stuff is by others. If I write the last story I plan for it to be that the first person gets the book back and show how it helps him again. Unless someone else can come up with a better story to end with.

Review: A Very, Very Pasta Family Halloween

I like the book a lot. A good book and a funny read with a musical number along the way. I like how it broke the 4th wall when she was asked how can you do a musical number since we're in a book? I did something like that in my book Last Train to Murder in the last chapter. I also liked how the little ghost kept his faith in God when he saw the girl full of joy and knew that there was still hope. In other words God showed him a way out. I also liked how it briefly showed some Marvel Halloween costumes. Of course the names were changed. The funniest name I thought was Webs McFadden which was really Spider-man. I laughed out loud at that one.
 As always Michael Ciccolini's sense of humor shines through in the latest Pasta Family adventure. Join Annaleenie and Lynn Gweenie and others on their adventure with the ghost, Sookrose and others. You won't be disappointed. Another great Past Family book.
